Let’s kick off by dealing with the most frequently asked questions about hair damage repair.
Can you repair damaged hair?
The answer is yes! It’s not a quick fix, however you need to build moisture into the hair over time. The best approach to combat damaged hair is with regular shampooing and conditioning, complemented by a weekly deep conditioner for damaged and dry hair. There are a few key ingredients that we recommend using. Keratin is a moisturizer made of molecules that resemble the keratin found in the hair. The small particles are able to deeply penetrate hair to make it feel softer, and look really voluminous and shiny too. As well as Vitamin E, which supports your hair and scalp health. You can find these in our volumizing shampoo & revitalizing conditioner.
How can you tell if your hair is damaged?
- Your hair is brittle and breaks easily.

- Split ends - Your hair ends is actually dead & old hair, which makes it more prone to dryness and damage.
- Lack of hair trims -Even if you’re growing out your hair, trimming damaged split ends could prevent further damage.
- Coloring & bleaching hair - Hair dyes can weaken and damage your hair! When you dye your hair it lifts the cuticle, making your hair very hard to return back to its original state. Don’t worry, just start your hair journey now!

When hair loses moisture, it becomes very brittle. We recommend you start reducing the amount of heat that you apply to your hair. But if you must use any hot styling tools, please make sure you lower the heat setting. And don't forget the heat protectant, which can prevent any further damage to your hair. Also select ceramic versions as these heat up more evenly so you don’t have to keep using them on the same sections of your hair repeatedly.
Get into the habit of applying a deep conditioning treatment every week and visit your hair salon for regular trims. This is a vital part to hydrate your hair, leaving it looking softer & smoother.
Use a leave-in conditioner to repair dry and frizzy hair. Whether your hair is curly, wavy or even straight, leave-in conditioners detangle, soften and smooth your hair. Pick your ingredients well! Keratin is amazing for strengthening and repairing the hair cuticle.
Start treating your scalp! Yes, your scalp needs to be in good shape, so the hair that comes out of it would be the same. Start using ampoules to target weakened hair that is subjected to falling. Incorporate hair oils in your routine as well. Giving your scalp a deep nourishing oiling treatment on a weekly basis will surely support a healthy scalp and hair.
Sleep on a silk or satin pillow. When we sleep, we tend to move around a lot, and when our hair rubs against the texture of cotton, it breaks and tangles. Sleeping on satin can really elevate your hair, making it so much easier to manage in between washes, and therefore, reducing breakage.
